About 3 000 Business students met their future employers at the ARENA Career Fair.
ARENA Career Fair, which is the largest recruitment and contact event for companies and university business students in Finland, was held on Wednesday 13 November at the Aalto University School of Business. Almost 60 companies or other organizations participated and about 3 000 students visited the fair.
"A lot of dress shirts and candy, but especially a good recruiting happening. More of this at universities!" appraised one tweet at Twitter.
The fair also hoped to draw attention to the employment of our foreign degree students in Finland.
- Foreign degree students are unable to adequately find jobs in Finland. We lose a significant amount of knowhow as they move to work abroad after graduation, says Head of Corporate Relations and Career Services Jonna Söderholm from Aalto University School of Business.
- We aim to enhance our foreign degree students' employment in Finland for example by organizing events where the students and Finnish employers can contact each other, by funding internships and, together with the network of Finnish universities, by raising awareness of the issue amongst employers, says Söderholm.

ARENA Career Fair
The ARENA Career Fair, organized by the Career Services of the Aalto University School of Business, was held at the School of Business on Wednesday 13th November. This year’s Fair was the 22nd. The Fair is the largest recruitment and contact event for companies and university business students in Finland. It is organized at the Aalto University School of Business in cooperation with Hanken School of Economics.
The students can meet the companies both at the fair and at ARENA-On-Line in Facebook. About 3 000 students visit the fair every year.
