New professors appointed at the School of Business

<p><span>The following new professors have been appointed at the Aalto University School of Business:</span></p>

Doctor of Science (Economics) Antti Suhonen has been appointed as part-time (20%) Professor of Practice in Finance. The field of his professorship is finance. 

Suhonen's research topics include derivatives and structured products, alternative investments, pensions and other long term savings markets and financial institutions.

PhD Tomas Falk has been appointed as Associate Professor (tenured) at the Department of Marketing. The field of the professorship is marketing and the professorship was opened at the department on 17 December 2012. 

His research focuses on Services Marketing, Self-Service Technologies, Customer Relationship Management and Internet Retailing. 

Dr. rer. oec. Teemu Kautonen has been appointed as Associate Professor (tenured) in Entrepreneurship at the Department of Management Studies. 

Kautonen's current research focuses on entrepreneurship and population ageing, the role of trust in the financial relationships of new and small firms, and the factors influencing the translation of entrepreneurial intentions into start-up activities.

Appointments as Assistant Professors:

Anu Bask, Doctor of Science (Economics), has been appointed as Assistant Professor (2nd term) to the Department of Information and Service Economy. The field of professorship is logistics. Bask's research focuses on the supply chains, services, modularity and sustainable development.

PhD Ewald Kibler has been appointed as Assistant Professor (1st term) in Entrepreneurship at the Department of Management Studies. Kibler's research focuses on the creation of new (traditional, social and sustainable) ventures in different geographical and institutional environments.

Doctor of Science (Economics) Svetlana Ledyaeva has been appointed as Assistant Professor (1st term) in Economics in Russia at the Department of Economics. Ledyaeva's research focuses on Russian economy including Foreign Direct Investment, multinational strategies,investment climate, regional and institutional development in Russia.
