One of the open positions is for the field of Business / Economics in Russia and another one is for Design Business Management. The persons recruited for these fields will be placed, depending on the person in question, in one of the departments of the School of Business.

Other forthcoming openings are in the core fields of business and economics: organization and management, accounting, marketing and finance.
Tenure track, a career path for professors, is a central element in the implementation of Aalto University's strategy. Persons who are distinguished or show excellent scientific potential are recruited to that career path.
With the help of the career path, Aalto University has been able to pick both top figures in various fields as well as young research talent to take Aalto University towards its ambitious aim.
During its operation since 2010, the career path for professors has widely attracted international applicants. So far, 22 professors, of whom 7 are foreigners, have been appointed to the School of Business' tenure track system.
In addition to the positions just made available, new tenure track positions will be opened later this year.
