In her new position, Tammisto will focus on managing the company's concept-based business operations and its sales activity.
Tammisto has been working as Senior Advisor at Aalto EE since the fall of 2012. Among other things, she has developed Aalto EE's Asian operations and has been working as Director of Integration since January 2014, when Aalto University started to integrate all of its executive development and continuing education activities within Aalto EE.
Tammisto is an experienced service management expert. Her previous positions include Managing Director at Suomen Matkatoimisto and Sales Director at Kaleva Travel.
"Jaana is playing a central role in the implementation of our ambitious growth strategy. Our operations have just expanded to include Aalto University Professional Development (Aalto PRO) and the commercial education services offered by Aalto University's PYK centre for small enterprises, which are about to be integrated with the Aalto ENT brand," says Professor Pekka Mattila, Managing Director of Aalto EE, and adds, "Jaana's long-standing experience in service management helps Aalto EE to prepare for future challenges."

As a result of the integration of Aalto University's commercial executive development and continuing education activities, Business Area Director Kirsti Miettinen has also joined the management team of the new Aalto University Executive Education Ltd. She is responsible for the business area that includes development services for experts and managers.
